It's the lowest rated modern episode on TrekBBS and the second lowest on IMDb. Does it have to go lower than Section 31 before it's bad enough?

If you get rid of the 22% of people who voted 1 it's STILL rated the worst episode of SNW. That's how bad it is.

Strange New Worlds may be the best live action Trek show since Deep Space Nine, but I don't think it should rate higher than DS9 on IMDB.

Why does SNW's overall IMDB rating show 8.1 when each season's rating is lower, even Season 2?

Meanwhile, the review bombing for Season 4 is obvious, but at some point the overall rating for the show should go slightly down.

Why does SNW's overall IMDB rating show 8.1 when each season's rating is lower, even Season 2?

I think the overall rating is its own thing, not an average of the episode ratings. Plus unless people go back and change their rating after each season it's not going to drop much.

Meanwhile, the review bombing for Season 4 is obvious, but at some point the overall rating for the show should go slightly down.

If there has been any review bombing for season 4 on IMDb, it's been very selective bombing that only affects every other episode.

The top 5 s4 episodes average 7.7, which is the average score for this kind of series on the site. I can't check how many people voted 1 anymore, but this does not look like a series under attack by haters who'll vote down anything.

The bottom 5 s4 episodes average 4.8, which is an amazingly bad score. On its own that'd definitely be suspicious, but Trek BBS's poll showed a similar result. So I have to conclude that what the show was doing here wasn't working for a lot of people.
