Given that the "Collector Box" version of the standard size Equinox is £22.99 whilst the base model is £8.50 (and out of stock...) - cardboard prices must be through the fucking roof.

As such, no magazine - demand a 60% discount.

Apparently it's September already. It can now be added to basket.

By the way, that's one of the ugliest ships I've ever seen.

I think they added more stuff to their Fan Sale. Noticed most of the shuttle sets are now included. I picked up set 2 for 50% off, also picked up the Andorran Cruiser from Enterprise for 15% off to trigger the free shipping.

I don’t trust their shipping dept, but 50 buck for one of those sets is great.

So after a year of having the USS Antares NCC-9844 on preorder at BigBadToyStore (with the estimated restock month always changing), Eaglemoss finally restocked it themselves. So I just ordered it from them directly and am going to cancel at BBTS. So don’t buy it for stupid eBay prices, or wait for BBTS to never get it in stock.

(This is not actually a rant against BBTS. They are a great company. I just wish that they wouldn’t say they’ll be getting something in stock when they clearly won’t be.)

Well, my income situation may have changes somewhat, so I naturally did the sensible thing and ordered a couple more shuttle sets!

Specifically, it was sets 6 and 8. 6, frankly doesn't have a lot going for it and one of them isn't even technically canon (again, that would've been a great spot to include the inspection pod from "Enterprise"), but it does have the original Defiant shuttle, which I'm looking forward to, and it was half off on the website.

I'm more interested in 8 with its various alien shuttles.

But based on past experiences, I expect it will be a few weeks before it even gets shipped. But at least there's something to look forward to (along with the Sarajevo I previously ordered, and the Suliban cargo ship off ebay).

In retrospect the fact that I'm not really into STO or the new series may actually be a blessing, as I'm sure there would be a lot of other models I'd want to buy.

I am not sure. The neck thickness implies Refit or beyond, but could be an optical illusion from shadows.

It's the strategy of packing less desirable ones with desirable ones that allow some of the stranger shuttles to get made though. If they were sold individually we'd probably see less shuttles overall.

I’m blown away. The order I placed last week arrived this morning. Almost exactly a week after I placed the order. The previous time I ordered directly from them it took about a month for just a ship and a calendar.
