Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

I’m not sure anyone from the ENT development team would’ve seen/looked at drawings from an unmade Trek show. The announcement of the Phase II shuttle for this collection was my first ever encounter with it.

I guess the NX shuttlepod was based on the NASA space shuttle.

It's almost December - the perfect time to make wishlists! Here's a wishlist of ships I hope Eaglemoss will do in 2020...

Problem is we already know up to #175, and 180 is set to be the last. I imagine the final one will the Planet of the Titians Enterprise (as they've said before they'd do it, and it was seen onscreen in the background of ST:III)
So there's only 4 mystery ones left to announce.. :(

Although they have said they'll still probably continue in special issues online (like how they're doing Friendship One that way for example)

But yeah I really want the USS Elkins

Well, the SC-4 and the Sovereign-class escape pod would probably be released as shuttlecraft issues, and the Borg Cube and Xindi weapon as specials. They're currently not planning to do the Nemesis Enterprise E at all. And the Jupp, Hutzel, Elkins, and Holoship concept didn't appear on screen, so they'd have to be bonus issues. So I'd expect at most 3 of these ships in the regular line anyway - D5 Tanker, Ambassador-class refit, and Raging Queen.

They have technically already done a Borg cube, in a very large scale.

But yeah, I would love to see some of those other designs, no doubt.

Oh was the Elkins never on screen? Wasn't sure if it was one of those bare-able-to-see ones from the opening of A Time To Stand

Personally I really want the three alien Year of Hell ships (Zahl, Mawasi & Nihydron) and Assan's racing ship from Drive, to go along side Irina's racing ship and the Delta Flyer. Would look awesome :techman:

Actually, looking at the Antarian Trans-stellar Rally from said episode, we do have quite a few of the ships already (seen as nearly all of them are reuses!)
The Devore, the Bajoran Raider, the Lokirrim, Bajoran Freighter, and the Karemma & Kes's shuttle are coming soon.

Colonial One has arrived (UK).
Are the Orion interceptor and the Alka-Selsior/Nilo Rodis prototype being shipped yet?

So, how does it look? :)

As for ships I'm still hoping for: the TAS Bonaventure would make the top of that list. Closely followed by an improved version of their botched Stargazer model. Make it the Hathaway or reissue it as an XL model, just fix the thickness of the saucer and improve the bland paint scheme.

Then there are models like the Wisp ship, the Newton from Star Trek (2009) and the original Aurora that would be so cool to own.

I think we can pretty much write off a Stargazer update. That was clearly a situation where good enough was good enough. I just hope that they don't make an XL version of that thing without fixing any of its massive problems.

According to Ex Astris, there may be photographic evidence that the Elkins was seen on-screen, in a distant shot from DS9's "A Time to Stand". But, yes, neither the Hutzel nor the Jupp were apparently ever seen on-screen. Although, these days, with concept ships being made, that shouldn't stop Eaglemoss from doing them, particularly since the Fed ships seem to do so well in general, financially, and they pretty much have nearly all the model parts needed to build them from other models, being real-world kitbashes and all. Although I suspect if they take a shot at it, they'll likely be specials, since the main line is close to winding down.

Actually, the ship Bernd speculates as the Elkins is just another shot of the Curry model from far away. So I don’t believe the Elkins was ever on screen.

Memory Alpha and at least one Eaglemoss magazine state this as well, so I guess it's possible that they'll release it as a regular issue. But I came to the conclusion that the silhouette of the ATtS mystery ship does not match the Elkins. It's more likely to be another shot of the Curry:

So is Star Trek Picard, Star Trek Lower Decks, Star Trek Prodigy (and Star Trek Discovery and Star Trek Asshats for that matter) all going to have their own sub-lines?
