Yeah, if it was shipping a week ago, someone would have it by now.

I know other countries have had issues with items just showing up & no tracking info. My experience in the US is that I only remember getting one of my regular subscription shipments where the tracking info came after I actually got the item.

For Americans you can also sign up for the USPS Informed Delivery app (its free). Packages show up in the app as well, and most of the time it shows the vendor. Sometimes I see items from Eaglemoss in there before they actually send me an email. Nothing in there right now that I’m not expecting though.

Yes, the most recent trend is that the shipping emails now appear after the model has already been delivered. Been happening for the past couple of months now that I've noticed. Not as much of a big deal as some of their larger problems, but an irritant, nonetheless. If I were to guess, it's likely an artifact of the new Indiana distribution hub not letting Pennsylvania know promptly when things get shipped.

The Prototype Enterprise-C is a fantastic design when you see it in 2D- the artwork does not do it justice. I wish the Galaxy class looked this good- streamlined and graceful. I never did care much for the E-D's oval primary hull and seeing this ship with the circular one really makes the case.

i don't have many ships in my collection but I am really happy to add these two.

Does your Probert-C have the missing black windows on half the saucer and the missing everything paint issue on the secondary hull under the saucer? This model was going to be my very first as I've long liked the design but the easy to spot yet somehow missed paint issues turned me off to it. I'm not hearing any good things about it being corrected in future runs either.

not to add to the pile of dead horses being beaten right now, but...

someone on the facebook fan group page is reporting that he spoke with eaglemoss support who informed him that the shenzhou has been shipping "since last monday". they helpfully could not confirm if his specific shenzhou model had shipped yet but this news goes to the theory that it's shipping on time, they just failed to let us know.

however.

if it's been shipping for 7 days, someone should have reported a sighting by now. so i guess i could have posted nothing at all and we'd have just as much firm information as before. but still.

^ Indeed. I've only came on to see if anyone had it yet - I got the £1 reservation pre-order deal and I've still not been charged the full amount yet.

They're all like this for some odd reason. I don't think anyone's heard if a "corrected" version will be made available. It may, though, as there have been two models to my recollection that have been corrected in the history of the run, and that were sent out to those who purchased the faulty models. One was in one of the shuttle packs, IIRC. Can't remember the other.

Hopefully that will be the last of the duplicates. Maybe I'll see K-7 by April.

Yes, it has the missing windows also. Not too hard to add them though...

They're ostensibly selling folks a painted model... it should be, you know, actually fully painted. Not missing some details on half of some large sections and ALL details on another.

The actual models seem to be getting sent out from a new warehouse in Fishers, Indiana these days, but I believe the main data center where US operations and logistics are handled are still in Pennsylvania.

In the US orders originate in Pennsylvania but are sent to a 3rd party shipping company in Indiana. It seems from there they are sent directly to the USPS if you’re in the Western/Midwest US. If you’re in the Eastern US they go from Indiana to New Jersey and then go to the USPS. This extra step seems to add a few days for those of us in the East.

my experience with preorders from the eaglemoss store has always been that they arrived on or before the release date. it surprises me that shenzhou is so late. an inauspicious start to my first subscription.

regardless of where it's coming from, this is going to be an interminable 7-10 days. i really haven't been this excited about (let's face it) a toy in a long time. and i don't even like discovery the show that much.

In the original Shuttle Set #2 one of the shuttles had a typo of 1071-D on it. They shipped a replacement to those of us who bought from the web store with 1701–D on it. Maybe it’s that ?
