I built these 2 models 14 years ago - right after I graduated from High School. The "Exeter" is a model of the Nabu starfighter from Phantom Menace.

Interesting idea to use a Naboo Starfighter as a Starfleet ship!

Though I think maybe it might work better as a Starfleet ship if its top was actually the bottom of the Naboo Starfighter. Where you have the circular yellow hatch should be the bridge.

I like the idea of retexturing a model like that. But if the intended scale is the same as in the final shot of the models, it's a bit jarring.

With the pilot's canopy, it should be big enough to fit into the hangar deck. But if you paint over the canopy so we don't see the pilot, you could create new windows, making it look like a larger ship.
