Spoilers Star Trek show between Nemesis and Picard: S31?

Well, what do you think about Picard spin-off, but not usual spin-off.

More like some new show to cover period between Nemesis (2379) and Picard (2399). It's a huge gap. It is a period of the Federation we need to explore. To see something new. To see how Federation changed.

If they already decided to make show about Section 31 I think this period would be a great. Maybe 3 seasons to cover 2385 (Mars attack), 2386, and 2387 (Romulus destruction).

You know there is a canon gap about Section 31. In Discovery era it is official organisation responsible to Starfleet Command. But in Enterprise era before that, and later in DS9 era it is a cover-up non-official organisation that is doing own thing. And it is not in regular Starfleet structure. Maybe this can be a period (2385-2387) where they can make a decision by Stafrleet command to make S31 official once again same as in period of Discovery. And they can make a great story about Tal Shiar (Zat Vash) and Starfleet Inteligence (Section 31) about ther plot, about ther cover-up, about organised synths rouge attack on Mars, about backround how everything went to hell.

I don't want to watch Section 31 show in era between DIS and TOS, bcs they will show some technologies that are not for that period. It's a lot easier to place Section 31 show in this era 2379-2399 bcs of that. And we want to see more of this uniforms:

Yes, this kind of ‘what if’ post should be in the FoT forum. And I already think the Section 31 show they’re doing now is a bad idea, so there’s no need to make even more of it.

I mean, even if we could agree that the 20 year gap should be filled with some kind of show - and compared with the 70 or so years between TUC and TNG it is not exactly Terra Incognita - I guess it is highly unlikely anyone would be interested in Section 31

Yes, Lower Decks starts one year after Nemisis. Probably in order to keep a "lighthearted" feel, and allow for lots of Berman Trek actors to return as guest voice actors for their unaged characters.

I am honestly not interested in a section 31 show. With Sloan's death I figured it has a fitting end. But its more than that. I despised what Discovery did to Section 31 and disagreed with just about every decision they took with regards to section 31. If they make that show I won't be watching it.
