As a kids game where one of the main selling points is local co-op I wouldn’t expect huge numbers playing on steam. Much more likely console.Well that Star trek Prodigy game that was released in October 2022 on steam, has a peak player count of 8 since its launch, so i wonder if that has impacted on this game or the publishers view on it.
I would hope they would look at the Prodigy game & see it's obviously directed at kids and not very appealing to adults, Resurgence is a completely different game.
That publisher (Outright Games) has plenty of games with around that same peak player count, even franchises like Paw Patrol and Transformers are peaking in the low double digits. I doubt Supernova had much bearing on the development of Resurgence.Well that Star trek Prodigy game that was released in October 2022 on steam, has a peak player count of 8 since its launch, so i wonder if that has impacted on this game or the publishers view on it.
I would be very surprised if we don't see a trailer for the game during Picard S3 so maybe the February hype train is a go?It was pushed back 6 months from October 2022 and they stated it was to allow a final polish to the game, but when a game is this close to release and there is no updates and it is all deadly quiet, someone is not happy somewhere, usually the publisher, which might explain why all promotion for the game has gone the way of the DoDo.........but who knows, maybe the hype train for the game will explode in a few weeks time in Feb.![]()
Feels like this just fell off the face of the planet.
After a year-plus of "polishing", I'm not sure they haven't changed quite a bit about the game.
Is there really no news ? Nothing?
I mean it's March and April is around the corner.![]()
