Robert Picardo. One of the key selling points of Renegades for me is how they sign people who are arguably the B-listers of Trek, i.e. apart from Chekov none returned for a movie

Always good.May I suggest that for these next several outings, the team take its time? There's no need to rush- release when the eps are as good as you can make 'em.
One miniscule nitpick I haven't seen mentioned (so thought I would) is that there were a small handful of times in the pilot where the color correction wasn't aligned properly with the shot. That is to say; one shot would cut to the next, and the color grading from the first shot would hold over onto the first frame of the next shot. It's minor, but still good to catch all these little blips to look extra professional.![]()

A good job was done on trying to match them, it only stood out a few times (and never too badly) ...but once or twice someone missed a few frames, that's all.On of the problems we had was Camera A was shooting a bit more overexposed than Camera B. They thought this would be an easy correction in post, but you could still notice a difference. Like everything else this is not a mistake we intend on making again.
Another great add!BTW, Andy Probert (who is a member here also) has joined our team as well.![]()
Depends on which character they're playing. As far as Terry Farrell, I doubt she'll be reprising the role of Jadzia Dax.
Gotta admit I thought that pilot was, for the most part, a let down....and I agree with those highlighting the writing as one of the issue. Nonetheless I am impressed at the lack of arrogance in the production circles and most of what has been detailed here sounds very promising indeed.

I have read that none of the other fan films pay their actors,
Tom, Thanks for clearing that up for me. It's even worse than I originally thought! It appears that a huge part of the money is going to pay the Actors (which is most of the production team). This seems, to me, like a vehicle just to make money. Can you tell me if the Actors are making scale and is the production SAG signatory? I have read that none of the other fan films pay their actors, because they do it out of love for the franchise. At some point, CBS will likely look at this payment as profit and they may ask for a full accounting of all your expenses. Renegades and Axanar may just kill fan films forever, and that will be a sad day.
Quick numbers: Your production costs are ~$11,363.00 a minute. That's $10,000 more than other fan productions. Can you tell me/ us why you cost more than them?
