One thing I'd prefer these days is that if the entire season is done being made... then it should just be released ENTIRELY for streaming purposes so you can watch all or most of it in one go.

Ah, but they'd make less money that way. That's why they spread it out, so you stay subscribed.

Though in the case of the Live Action shows, they're usually not finished when they start airing.
I think Picard Season 3 might be the first exception, the showrunner said it's been complete since September.

Not sure if the animated shows are completely finished when they start airing, but probably.

Agreed. Part of the fun is the anticipation and the speculation and the slow build. Dropping all at once loses that.

When streaming started getting big, I loved the binge aspect. I was also single and had a lot more time on my hands. Now with my wife and my second child just being born a few weeks ago, ain’t got time for the binging. Barely have time to keep up with the few shows I do watch. I prefer the once a week model myself.

Same. I have no time for binging and barely have time for regular viewing.

I'm just not a big fan of binge watching in general. Also, I like only having one episode air each week, as it helps give me a reason to push through each week with something to look forward to, Paradoxically, I also like the feeling at the end of a season when I have that timeslot free for the next little while.

Animation also takes time, I suspect they may still be working on animation for the very last episodes of the season. The trailer, for example, probably showed overwhelmingly scenes from the first episodes of season 1B, likely because the final episodes may not be fully finished yet (as far as animation goes).

S01E05 also had relatively bad animation in parts (thinking of some of the scenes with the Diviner), likely because of a lack of time. They needed the break for episodes 6-10, at that time.

If that's the case, I hope they decide to release the rest of the episodes elsewhere. You can't stop those leaks once they are out.

Would be nice to have the rest of Prodigy to watch over Thanksgiving.

I wish in this new era of streaming Paramount would think about doing a double episode release.

And the leaked casting call is correct again.

But I honestly had no reason to suspect it was wrong because it had the exact name of the species in it before that was even revealed by anyone from the production
