Yeah, they didn't 100% hate it, but they found a way to spend most of their time dissing it anyway. Though I do like their stuff in general.
Also, it appears Rich Evans lost a ton of weight?
at some point it seems Patrick Stewart had time to be Charles Xavier for DR Strange 2. We don’t know how long that took. Cameo or slightly larger? So there may have been a rest period.

I would like to see more of a reunion in season 3, a nice "All Good Things Part 3" where we see the old TNG folk and then send them on their way. That would be fun.

It's an odd "review".
Maybe the elements they criticize are just what they decided to leave in the review as bits they thought were fun, but I don't think their critiques were very insightful. Their criticism of the Guinan scene (and others) seem to be more like "I don't like X. I would have done X like Y." with no real substantive differences. Seems like there is a lot of criticizing it for what it is not (not what they wanted) instead of what it is.
Maybe like Rich said, they just have too much bile built up from season 1 that they can't objectively review this episode. Their tone is so down on it, and it seems it is largely just because they expect the show to falter later in the season, rather than actually commenting on the quality of the episode.
Though they are right that it is very hard to judge the overall quality of a serialized story having only seen 10% of it.
It's funny, RLM's criticisms of the Star Wars prequel trilogy are some of the best movie criticism I've seen, even if they're packaged in the silly Plinkett stuff.
I don't begrudge them their not liking PIC or other modern Trek but there are a lot of issues they list that take things out of context or are not really good faith interpretations of obvious things so it's hard to give their PIC work the same weight as earlier stuff.

Indeed, yes. The prequel trilogy review, while long and painful at times, highlighted some serious flaws in those films. Perhaps others could have said it better but they did well enough. Even their ST 09 review was decent. But, from there it just...languished. It became more unfunny and really abrasive.
They’ve got some entertaining stuff but I just can’t give any credence to the reviews on anything new as most often it seems way too negative. Not everyone has to like everything. I’m just not going to spend a a lot of time watching YT review videos. Particularly when some are longer than watching what's actually being reviewed itself. Ultimately, I can form my own opinions about things. I don’t need to watch someone else’s.
I think Red Letter Media basically realizes they need to cater to a certain audience for clicks. Positive reviews of anything get less clicks on Youtube, so they go with "funny" negative reviews even when they don't totally hate it and can't even be arsed to do research on simple things (didn't know about the new Picard showrunner, didn't know about Prodigy at all, etc.)

I used to watch RLM quite religiously, but I started to realise their outlook on films was making me a little jaded. I started going into films expecting the worst or looking for flaws. Life’s just too short to be that cynical all the time, and to be honest, I quite like liking stuff.
They stopped watching Discovery after Season 2 ended. They haven't watched any of Lower Decks (which is too bad, I think they would like it), and didn't even know the name of Prodigy.

I'm not saying that Cabrera isn't in season three (I hope he is because Rios is one of my favourite characters) BUT as you say, maybe he isn't in every episode?

He said, "There have been a lot of cast changes and things moving about quite a lot. Some of which I was a little disappointed to see, losing the teamwork and sense of continuity and the lovely people we had on the show since since season one."
But we'll find out, as you say.

Yes PS clearly was able to find time to film a cameo for Dr. Strange 2.
I don't think there will be a blood bath, and yes the Stargazer seems to be back next season. My hunch is Jurati turns out to be the new Borg Queen (based on things we've seen in the trailer), Rios stays in the past (again based on something in the trailers), Elnor goes back to the Academy, and Soji continues being an ambassador. I also have a hunch Laris leaves the Chateau or is killed off (Patrick Stewart has hinted he has a different love interest in season 3).
As for a TNG reunion, I am almost certain there will be a strong TNG element in season three. At the very least, we'll likely see Geordi and Beverly again.

You say that but this is the same channel which was very positive about The Matrix Resurrections and was aware enough that their fans disliked it that they poked jokes at that with the thumbnail and talked about how much certain crowds hated it.
RedLetterMedia have their flaws but they really don't come across as a crowd of people fussed enough to pretend to dislike something they think is good.
I do think their reviews for one episode of a New Trek show are kinda pointless since even they point out that watching one episode of a modern show is like watching the first five minutes of a film.
EDIT: Probably important to note most of their income likely comes from Patreon, not YouTube ads.

She was subjected to a sustained campaign of emotional abuse from thousands of people on the basis of false allegations; she attempted to continue with her YouTube career but was suffering such profound mental health consequences -- she has noted that she was literally shitting blood as a result of the stress the abuse campaign induced in her -- that she indicated she decided to terminate her entire career and withdraw from public life entirely.
Selfishly, I hope that she makes an exception for her writing, but I suspect the last book in her trilogy will be the last novel she writes.
