Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

I'm thinking Musiker might be an augmented human like Bashir and his pals. Would explain why she's brilliant yet a messed addict and why she got the boot once Picard resigned. And this would be very Star Trek.
I never thought of that!!! She could be an augment

He's simply great in those.

I remember him for his memorable performance as Meg Mucklebones in Legend.

Next week's ep is entitled "Absolute Candor".

I have this image of Seven and Picard going at each other. :shifty:

Picardo can be pretty hammy at times, but he was definitely one of Voyagers stronger actors. He also does sinister quite well as he positively scared the shit out of me when i watched the Howling when i was younger.

I've seen them. Annoying overcating that makes the character look like caricature. I guess I can understand why some would find that refreshing over the nondescript blandness of the most of the the Voyager cast though.

Presumbly, the next week we are going to see Romulan mostly female fighting monastery. Some people are going to have a heart attack.

"What might we logically infer?"

That was his response.
Heh ...
Sounds like the kinda chit I like to throw around occasionally.

I'd "logically infer" that she's not Vulcan or they are some kind of spy device.

Thank you.

Interesting, most of his explanations were things I thought of as well.
Cool.
:techman:

Thank goodness he threw the "Perfect Universe" out the door making this show.

Raffi IS Vaping & Rios IS smoking. (and apparently they could be Cuban cigars)

People will never be perfect..

He doesn’t answer the question. He just asks the question right back. He might be inferring that she’s a Romulan, but then why aren’t Laris and Zhaban wearing sunglasses? And wouldn’t Romulans also have the eyelids even if they don’t need them on Romulus? He’s just being coy.

So, Mr. Chabon, I logically infer that she’s from the Mirror universe, and that she’s not really a Vulcan or a Romulan, but a certain dethroned former empress in disguise. Or the dethroned empress’s granddaughter.

Except Mu-Georgieu hasn't been shown to have any children yet and as far as we know is quite a few decades in the future still.

Doesn’t Discovery have access to the Red Angel suit?
YES, it is in the future, that is true.

But we don't actually know yet if anybody is going to be able to use it.
And whether or not Mu-Georgieu actually goes back in time or even if she does, what Era she will end up in.

Also, the Empress doesn't really seem to me to be the child rearing type.
