Hello everyone...

is there a thread for Spoilers from people that have seen the first three episodes via the premiere in LA?

Keeping Worf’s makeup the same is just common sense. They shouldn’t be praised for doing that.
I would take a look at the history of Kor, Koloth, and Kang if I were you. They were both introduced as TOS smooth heads, but when they appeared in DS9, and Voyager they had ridges. So there is a history of changing an old character's appearance to match a new design.

What’s on cable that is 20 time better than picard to justify $140 a month!?

How much TV do you watch?!
I know this wasn't directed at me, but I can't imagine getting rid of my cable, even though it's $200 a month for it and internet.
I watch a ton of stuff on cable, and I like to be able to keep up with them. A few of them are on the streaming services, but I don't want to have to wait for them to show up, and quite a few of them aren't on there. I also tend to leave the TV on as background while I'm doing other things, and it's alot easier to just turn the TV on and not have to deal with going through a streaming service.

Watch ENT Affliction and Divergence.

Whoever can afford cable to let it run in the background could maybe also afford to share $6 with someone for 3 months. AFAIK, you can share it with one other person, so it's $9 for the entire show.

Our long Disco Klingon nightmare is over!
Now if (for us TOS fans) they'd end the "Klingon Nightmare" started with ST:TMP in 1979. ;)

I will never know, because "I'll be DAMNED if I pay for another streaming service!!!1!! Star Trek was meant to be free!!"

:rommie:
Me: Looks at current Satellite TV bill, and was looking at Cable bill circa 1987: -- Yep..."Free"...oh, wait... ;)

Brilliant. Somewhat confused by Amazon's reply underneath, though - made me think that the photo wasn't quite legit?

Either way, seen a lot of photos posted of the advertising Amazon have been doing for this. If anyone is still asking why CBS let Amazon take this show, rather than popping it on Netflix like Discovery, then we've got another answer just with the marketing alone. I don't recall anything like this for Discovery.

Picard has apparently contributed to the glory of France

I'm really pleased by this, I've always been THAT GUY who reminds people that Jean-Luc is French, not British. Sir Patrick has said that this time they made sure Jean-Luc actually gets to speak some French (he didn't seem to remember that TNG already HAD several scenes where Jean-Luc spoke French/sang in French) - I think it's a great little nod to the first few TNG episodes where they made Jean-Luc's French pride shine. ;)
