I'd rather have the DSC aesthetic, which reminds me more of the TOS and early TNG movie era, than the later TNG film era.

New season of Curb starts Jan 19, 4 days before Picard.
That new Hugh Laurie sci fi Show also starts then, which will probably feel more like Star Trek than this.
This doesn't look anything like a BOP...

You know I just had this idea on how the show might go. Picard doesn't like that the Federation has gone evil now. So he helps create a resistance to fight back and destroy the Federation and bring it down. He will eventually, because of age and health have to turn leadership over to his daughter assuming the young girl(destroyer of worlds) is his daughter. The show ends with the Federation destroyed. Which helps explain the future in "Discovery" as well. Basically a show that is a cross between "Star Wars" and "Mr. Robot."

And new BSG, assuming Dahj will be revealed as a synth prototype who will fulfill the prophecy said in the trailer.
If this is where the story will be going, Kurtzman & Co has certainly learn a thing or two from Ron Moore

It looks like an RV.
Picard would never fight to destroy the Federation. He'd actively work against corruption within it, to fix the organisation, but he would never look to outrightly destroy it.
Discovery takes place so far in the future, I doubt that ANYTHING Picard does [with regards to the Federation] plays into the fall of the Federation that has been alluded to in Discovery trailers.

But whatever my thoughts on the show, those Discovery uniforms blow serious ass. And they would even if every episode was as good as "The Best of Both Worlds".
They're not great uniforms. I just find them more palatable than spandex.
To say nothing of the catsuit.
Had you asked me while Voyager or Enterprise were on the air, late teen/early twenties me would definitely have loved the catsuit. Forty year old me? Well, Seven looks better in Picard. Much better.

To be fair, she's always looked like she could kill someone. Those eyes could be like daggers.
I don't have alot of money as of late the only streaming service I have is Amazon becuse someone in my family already has it and we all use it
