In the opening of STAR TREK: NEW FRONTIER by Peter David, Admiral Jellico mentions that Captain Kirk's mission reports were full of nonsense like stolen brains, gangster planets, Nazi planets, and Greek gods.
I imagine it would go like this:
Cpt. Boimler: Oh yes, my time on the Ceritos was insane. You wouldn't believe it.
Picard: I was once Robin Hood and turned into a child. Did I mention the Irish stereotype planet?
Cpt. Boimler: Oh right. No, nevermind.
Picard: I never married Crusher because of the ghost candle thing.

More on topic, LD can be good. Not the most favorite for me right now because I enjoy more serious plots with occasional humor. But, I'm glad its there.

They didn't have a video panel online yet for Picard. Just photos of Jonathan del Arco and Isa Briones& Evan Evagora live tweeted on Sunday. They just had stories about filming Season one and Jeri Ryan had to cancel her appearence at las Vegas because she was still filming Picard season 2 and so has Michelle, Brent Spiner also canceled being at Las Vegas . Also Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden and John Delancie too. They appeared by Zoom Calls for the panel. No new information was released about when season 2 would come out in 2022. Just that they were having a good time working together again.I saw a cute photo of Evan Evagora and a lady dressed as a Quot Malot nun holding a stuffed cat that looked like Spot joking that Eilnor finally met Spot.Isa says she has a musical playlist for getting into the mindset to play Soji before she has to film her scenes for season 2 with the main cast and other actors for her characters story arc.

Michael Chabon wrote detailed notes on how Romulans marry in groups of three...
Which doesn't match up to anything we have seen but does match what know about the Andorians. Of course we haven't explored some of the more diverse angles of these cultures and tend to only see government officials or diplomats or scientist and then mostly in work situations.
I don't think we've seen enough of Romulan social life to make any sort of commentary on that. I think the only time we've ever seen Romulan family is when Troi went undercover.
We have extremely limited information on Romulian domestic life or cultural norms. So, there is nothing to match up to.
As late as 2364 Troi told Picard the Federation knew precious little about Romulan society and culture so could only give him a very brief take on what to expect if they ran into Romulans in the Neutral Zone.

Like Harry Kim saying that marriage is between a man and a woman, I think we can chalk that up to artistic license if that's what they want to do with Romulans.
