The Impossible Box has a runtime of 54 minutes and according to IMDB, the next episode is 58 minutes. So much for the theory that Picard is being restricted to 45 minute run times

Maybe midway through production the network lightened up a bit when it came to episode length?

So, it seems like next week we're basically going to have three different plotlines.

1. Picard and Soji stuck on the ground with the Rikers. Hard to see anything major happening here other than some conversations as they wait for La Sirena to pick them up.
2. La Sirena trying to get to Picard/Soji
3. More Artifact drama with Narek, Narissa, and Hugh - but with Elnor added as well.

Also, it doesn't seem to me that Soji is in that much danger any longer, is she? Obviously they want her wiped out, but the Zhat Vash wanted to know the location of the "nest"/homeworld, and they got it. Seems like they could mop her up later.

How does any of that confirm we will see her again?

2. She was normal until the Commodore showed her the secret which was enough to make her whack Maddox who she seemed to love at least for a while.

The final sentence in that quote. How can we see her address something as the season continues, if she’s no longer in the season?

And all those references were for things outside of the federation, where you would need money.

I am leaning more towards option 1 but that could easily change as more episodes are released.

At first glance that makes things simpler but actually it makes things more complicated as one wonders why Oh didn't just brainwash Picard the same way.

"Brainwash" is almost certainly not the right metaphor here. Jurati is in her right mind. She just knows something Picard doesn't know.

Ryan say's in the interview with Wheaton that Seven is going to be back.
He asked her directly.

Suspicious is the term I would use, it was the perfect opportunity to discredit him, ensuring that he receives no help from Starfleet or the Federation.

Jurati knows that they will let them go and she really wants to get to wherever it is Soji went with Picard.

It does not make her look innocent at all, as shown by the reactions of Raffi and Rios.
