I read the first two and it was pretty good, and definitely fills in backstory. Pity the final issue was delayed but I finally picked it up today. Haven’t read the ending but recommend, based on other two comics.

Whilst I enjoyed Children of Mars, nothing about it is necessary for a viewer to see before Picard, ultimately.
