Just a few minutes more and PICARD will go down in the annals of Trek History...

Damn I got my time zones mixed up---thought it was midnight PST already. Drat.

Waiting here too.

I've criticized the show plenty, but I am very interested to see how it all turns out. I don't think anything will make me a fan of the overarching plot at this point, but there might be a fun new idea or two, and the small-scale bits of character interaction have been done well most of the season. This will be...interesting, no matter what.

Well... if that wasn't a tear-jerker then I don't know what is.

They couldn't have wrapped up Data's Life in a more fitting way.

It's called PICARD .... but it really was all about Data.

I don't think any Trek Series has ended so well.
(though a couple are very close)
:techman:

There was... a lot to process from that. And the one big plot twist I saw coming last week, which kinda threw a wrench into things. But then they took a left turn and really brought the emotions out.

I'm sorry but this just wasn't very good in my opinion.
No insight on what exactly those higher synths were? They looked like a bunch of robotic snakes.

Why did they bring back irumodic syndrome just to "kill" Picard with it, then resurrect him in an android body? It was manufactured drama in the worst way possible. They should have just left irumodic syndrome out of it entirely and left out that whole android body business. Plus, this opens up the question on why everyone won't just live forever in android bodies from now on. It's just as bad as Khan's magic resurrecting blood from Star Trek Into Darkness.

What was the point of the pseudoscience where Data can be reconstructed from a single positronic neuron, just for him to "die" again? Why didn't they just leave Data dead with his death scene from Nemesis intact?

This show started off really strong, but ended as an incomprehensible mess.

I really didn't think Jean-Luc would end up that way.

But, I can see how he would be excepting of that after his conversation with Data.

:wah:

Star Trek: Picard is way more catchier than Star Trek: Data. Plus Sir Pat is a much bigger name recognition than Brent Spiner. Hence why they name the series 'Picard.'

Why do you have to over think it?
Why can't you just enjoy the ride without having to figure out how it all works?

Being so analytical must take a lot of joy out of life for you .... and that's just sad in itself.
:(
