For my money, AI Soong was a bit too concerned with his very organic mortality to be Lore in disguise.

I wonder if that’s even true. Has anyone ever gone through his Instagram Q&A sessions going back to first episodes?
I agree. He seems very different to someone like Steven Moffat, who actively lied to hide spoilers, whereas Chabon has been very upfront an honest about things, and if it's a spoiler he's just refused to say anything. His favourite response on Instagram, I notice, is a crystal ball gif.
I have been following his Instagram Q&A sessions every week, and I haven't noticed any outright lies yet. He just evades rather than lies. Which is why when he denies something I tend to believe him.
But I could be wrong.

This is CTV schedule (I think this includes commercials, right?) So we're looking at about 60-65 min episode?
Goodness, I sure as heck hope so. IMDb was, unfortunately, quite right about last week’s episode being 46 minutes long — and unfortunately, and I say this as a fan of this series — I felt like the limited runtime relative to the past few episodes really showed. I’m not a fan of the editing job for Part 1, and I would be thrilled if it’s stronger for Part 2. A longer runtime could certainly help in that regard.
It was probably just a matter of cutting the episode where they felt the break worked best. The two parts would average out to an hour each.

Unified theory for pleasing people: Q wanted to test Lore, so he rearranged history and made Lore the actual human son of Soong, and is named "A.I." Now human, Lore discovers in this new history that he is still not happy and is jealous of younger bother Data. Plus, math is a lot harder now The colony and the golem are Lore's attempt to reclaim his android body. Also: Pakleds, somehow. The Admonition is part of the test, and Lore ultimately fails it. And in conclusion, Commodore Riker with a fleet.
