it's so fucking cliché so of course it's going to happenPicard dying strikes me as highly improbable, unless they transfer him to that android body.
Hmmm.... now that I think about it, the latter strikes me as kind of plausible.

The fox cadaver getting eaten by parasites was worse than Icheb's eye![]()
It was a butterfly effect.

I'm guessing the butterfly pin penetrated her neural net and caused a cascade or short-out. Her net went down.
I would've liked to have penetrated her neural net, if you know what I'm sayin'.
I mean, the scientific knowledge gained from accessing a functioning positronic matrix would be invaluable.
Since there's a season 2 of the show, Picard can't die for good. Unless they do something monumentally stupid and name the ship after him or something, and pledge to carry on in his memory (which is rich, since they've basically spent half the show telling him he's old and naïve and rolling their eyes at him). So my bet is also on the "putting him in the android body" thing if he does die. But with these writers? They'll find some way to make it even cornier than it sounds.

They could also give him a positronic brain to go along with his mechanical heart and then spend the rest of the series doing bad Wizard of Oz jokes
I’m very disappointed Lucy Lawless wasn’t one of the robots.
Not so much. I mean the joke was there but I think it was an intentional reference. Transformation and rebirth is such a big part of the show == the episode even opens with Alison crunched up in an almost fetal position. And Agnes's arc is the biggest here.Welp, you win
5/10
Wow. Tied for worst of the season. And that is being generous. 3 or 4 out of 10 would be more fair. So Intergalactic Skynet wages genocidal war on biologics and they get the signal after psychic transmissions over millenia finally come from future "synthetics"?
