I work nights, go to sleep at 6-8 am. Finally that's a good thing for a change. Can't freaking wait, and it's very weird to have TNG's galaxy to visit each week again after so long.

It turns out there was an Ensign Clancy on the Enterprise D. She doesn't seem old enough to be the character in Picard but it certainly would show a dramatic passage of time for such a low ranking character to now be a five star admiral.

I bet streaming is amazing in Hawaii. You get to spend the day lounging at the beach (or work or commute traffic) and then at night you basically get brand new stuff in prime time. Also sports start so early here.

I do hope we get it at 9:30 HST. That will be amazing and I can still go to bed at a decent hour.

Nice early release tonight! Not too bad an episode. And once again, they drop an F-Bomb in Star Trek. And also, now I understand why Picard told Starfleet to piss off.... can't wait for next week.

Good episode. Felt like a transition from last week to next week but now we have this new Romulan organization infiltrating the federation. Really liked the stuff on the Borg Cube and the scene between Picard and the admiral was gut punching.

    Gave it an 8.

I do like the tugs. I liked the Star Fleet tech manual ones in the 70s when I got my copy.

lives up to the term, “Badmiral”. We’ve seen the Federation do bad stuff before but it seems like they’ve really gone off the deep end this time.

I think she may just be stupid and in the dark. I assume the Commodore from Section 31? is the puppet master. Nice to see a Commodore again, it's been a minute or two.

    That was.... complicated.

So many twists and turns and it's only the second episode.

And we get a Romulan "Section-31' that has existed for centuries.

Where's CONTROL when you need IT.
    :wtf:

The Commodore is from the Romulan "Section-31" apparently.
    They've infiltrated Star Fleet.

I wonder if Operative Sloan's Boss (Admiral Ross?) is aware of this?

Love the Romulan Borg Cube employee orientation meeting. Romulan Announcer guy with that hairdo was kinda interesting and amusing. Was not as evil as the trailer made it out to be, in fact was quite the opposite and very comparable to factory worker orientations/meetings.
