Star Trek passings

Robert Patrick just posted on Instagram that we lost Earl Boen. He was Nagilum in "Where Silence Has Lease", but was probably best known as Dr. Silberman in the Terminator films.

He also did voice work in a number of animated series, including the Red Skull and Beyonder in the 90's Spider-Man animated series.

Earl also voiced the lead facet of Nestor in "Battle Beyond The Stars."

Right. And Koenig got hired in 1967. So they were married since 1965 before he was in Trek. Pretty sure only Kelley and Koenig stayed married to their first spouse.

She had made a cameo appearance in Koenig's first "Babylon 5" episode, which was "Mind War".

I certainly remember him from the Terminator movies.

I find it amazing how I can recall the character name but neither the actors name nor his face.

Haven’t seen anything official but a few Trek related accounts I follow on Twitter are reporting Annie Wersching has passed.

Damn Cancer. I saw the news from Ian Spelling today on Facebook (Really good Moderator at STLV) and was shocked. She was so young. RIP. :(

RIP

I’m rewatching S2 of Picard before S3 starts and she’s good as the Borg Queen even though it’s kind of a small role.

Ok, I see her facebook page has now been updated for me and yes, she passed. Why would it appear on FB earlier for some and not all?

This is terrible. I liked her in everything I saw her do. She was also very good on Timeless.

I honestly thought her performance in Picard put her up there with Krige's original take, with her own spin on it. It was really well acted. Shocking to see people go that young. Wikipedia says she has three children, it's not going to be easy for them.

Annie,
Your song of beauty will travel for light years into the unknown, storms will be broken on desolate plains, the vile darkness of the abyss, illuminated by your soul.

For into your arms many have come and welcomed a unified candle in the darkness and the arms of many will receive you into the after.

Through time and space, in an instant and into the before are you carried. For the fight for the light of creation does not end with bodily death.

J. Patrick McNamara who appeared on STTNG has passed away.

I keep getting him confused with J. Patrick McCormack....

I remember now, McNamara is the project leader from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. McCormack is B5's General Lefcourt and DS9's Admiral Bennett (and who is, AFAIK, still with us)

Actor/stuntman Danny Goldring assed away last month on Dec 2.
R.I.P.

Legate Kell was one of the greatest Cardassians ever. Pure, cold menace. Like most of Goldring's Trek roles - just hearing the voice is enough to give you chills.

Dukat, if you are seeing this recording, it means you tried to abandon your post while the station's self-destruct sequence was engaged. That will not be permitted. You have lost control of Terok Nor, disgracing yourself and Cardassia. Your attempt to escape is no doubt a final act of cowardice. All fail-safes have been eliminated. Your personal access codes have been rescinded. The destruct sequence can no longer be halted. All you can do now is contemplate the depth of your disgrace, and try to die like a Cardassian.

And the fact that Kell even bothered to leave that recording in the first place shows just how Central Command thought of Dukat!

George Wilber -- stuntman and stunt-actor who did stunts in TWOK has died at age 81. He was 41 in '82 so I maybe he doubled Montalban or Shatner? He had no lines in the movie.
