Nope, Tim McCormack has died, age of 74. He played a background character by the name of Ensign Bennett during four years of TNG.
Brad William Henke, who played Uncle Frank in Star Trek 2009 (though his scenes were cut) died this week at 56. https://thehill.com/homenews/nexsta...-actor-brad-william-henke-dies-at-56-reports/ I'd seen him in a lot of things like "Cold Case", "Lost", and "The Office".
Did his role as 'Uncle Frank' stay in any clip within the movie or were all his appearances removed completely?
I just saw the news. It’s extremely sad. You never know what people are battling privately. Between Star Trek II and Cheers. She was an icon of the 80s.
No disrespect to Robin Curtis but I will always love her portrayal of Saavik in Trek 2 best. One of the best Trek movie guest actors ever.
Kirstie Alley had some questionable political associations in her later life, but she was a big part of what made Star Trek II a success. She also didn't have the easiest life. I hope she found that peace in death that eluded her in life at times. My condolences to her family.
Very sad news about Kirstie. She brought a level of energy to the screen that was unmistakable, especially at the height of her career. With a huge role in arguably the franchise's most iconic film, Kirstie will forever be a part of Star Trek. Thoughts and prayers to her family and loved ones.
Somebody over at Memory Alpha did some research and discovered that the actor Carl Byrd who played the red shirt security guard Lieutenant Shea in "By Any Other Name" passed away all the way back in 2001! Usually I say rest in peace but clearly he's (hopefully) been resting in peace for quite some time.
IMDB is showing that Maggie Thrett who played Ruth in Mudd's Women has died at age 76. Haven't seen this elsewhere. Hope it's not true. Celebrity Deaths in 2022 - IMDb
