I need clarification: the T6 constitution class ship in a lockbox is the Kelvin version, versus the TOS version?
There's also a TOS version...I think it came in lockbox manner with certain packs in c store. Basicallly, it's rare, and sells for something silly like a few billion energy credits. It can use the TOS or movie skin.
Isn't there a T6 ship in Agents of Yesterday that can use the TOS Constitution as an alternate skin?

Nope. Just the T6 ultra bastid rare version. There is a t1 , and the Ranger has a t6 variant.

I will not afford the Kelvin version at hundreds of millions of credits. Could use an new Science vessel, if I cannot run that Connie.
Any specific science vessel in mind? The primary character I use is a science officer and I love the Pathfinder. The Odyssey Science Cruiser is cool if you want the hull strength -- and turn ratio -- of a cruiser but the consoles and bridge officer seats of a science vessel (also gets you an insanely large, beautiful bridge). Both you can get in the C-Store, so none of this lockbox gambling shenanigans.
Got my NX-Refit, named it after the Endeavour in honour of @Christopher 's ROTF books
It is currently bugged, you can't use Registry numbers below 100, but they're working on it. So until then, I'm using 106.
You can also use the Type 0 TOS material on it.

LMFAO yeah I'm nowhere near wealthy enough to buy it off the exchange rn. The lobi price is pretty high too, actually. Bummer.
I currently have around 530 lobi. I could buy it sometime in the next few months, instead of the Vengerence - as i was planning on buying that. Anyways looks nice.
Wait for the new Vesta T6. If it's like it's predecessor it will be eight shades of awesome. I am an engine captain, and my Vesta is still the fastest ship, still nukes things on a good day.
Unfortunately I do not have another T6 science ship In mind. Upgraded too long ago and have not played the 25th century in a while . Maybe the new Vesta is another option??
