A new Vesta is coming? Did I miss something?

There is a ship in the Season 12 Promo Art that kind of looks like a Vesta.

People assume it is a T6 version.

To be fair, there are usually 9 Packs released around the same time as the anniversary.

Rademaker did confirm the ship in the screenshot is (a) indeed looks like a variant of the Vesta, that (b) he did not design the ship and (c) it is a new Vesta design that he has never seen before.

Got my NX-Refit

Can do me a favor? Please post a screenshot of the NX-Refit's Admiralty Card so I can add it's stats to my Admiralty System Optimizer?

No it can't.

And Thomas put the NX-Refit Model up on Artstation for us to look at

I recommend looking around his account, he has a few of his models up there.
I came across this description of the ships in AOY on the STO wiki: "The Paladin class, one of several futuristic T6 variants that can wear the costume of it's TOS-era counterpart if the player owns both ships, in this case the Ranger class pictured above." Here's the link (scroll down to "Ships.")

That's what I was referring to back in January (just stumbled on it again). I think I'm misunderstanding what the wiki is saying or the wiki is wrong. No? I just want to be sure I can't use a TOS skin (costume?) on one of these temporal ships before I drop $30 on them in the C-Store.

You need to own the Ranger to use the model on the Paladin

I misunderstood your original question, I thought you were asking if you could use the Connie model on the paladin

If you have the T1 Connie and the corresponding Temporal ship (Sagittarius?) does that work the same way? I kinda doubt it's that easy but want to check. Thanks for taking a round of 20 questions.

I haven't played this game since about, 2014? I'm thinking of downloading it again and checking it out. Is the population really low nowadays? How is the game faring?

I did some art for two of my ships.

The Patch for my NX-Refit, I have it rotated because I felt it looked too similar to the SFA Emblem from TNG. I chose to represent Australia and New Zealand on the Earth because of the relation of the HMS Endeavour to that area, and the ISS is there because of the Shuttle.

For the dedication plaques I used a PSD I found on Deviant art, but I used a different font, one closer to the letter style seen on Voyager's plaque. The names on the Victorious' Plaque are from the Sao Paulo, and the Endeavours' are from the Columbia's. Found them on M-A.

Here is the PSD for the plaque

The Crew Roster for the Victorious, I made the birth dates a little more realistic then you'd expect for the game. Pretending that my captain didn't just graduate from the Academy 1 in game year ago.

Also if someone can spell/grammar check my latin, that would be helpful, I used google translate, lmao.

I was on last week, though just for a few short DOFF missions. The game seems active. Everywhere I go there are players, and I'm talking 1-3 AM EST. The game really has improved considerably since 2014, and I recommend the download.

I actually did start playing again. I'm still pretty lost, but I have mostly gotten back into the swing of things. There are certainly people playing, which is good. The game could stand to be improved from a UI standpoint for sure, not much has changed really. Still, it's worth it just to get my Trek gaming fix.

I started playing the PS4 version this week. I tend to be a console gamer, so I'm finding it a lot easier to just jump in that I did on the PC.
Does anyone know if there's a way to make the text that pops up over people's heads bigger in the console version? I have 40 something inch TV and the writing is so tiny I can't make any of it out.

There are a lot of references to Diana Duane's Romulan novels in this game. it is staggering, I love it.

Whoever wrote them must have been a fan.
