No worries at all. I don’t think there is any such protocol. I just think some consistency helps, and it’s also easier when the show finally drops to not have to wade through 8-10 pages of people chatting and speculating that built up in the prior 5 days.
But my opinion is no more valid than anyone else’s, so don’t take it as anything more than that!
It kinda is a protocol, but I don't remember which show was getting rated before dropping that caused the issue. Maybe Picard?

Is he in the trailer? I didn't spot him.
IIRC, the first three episodes got threads weeks before they aired on account of they were shown at the premiere screening.
Wasn't that him presiding over the legal proceeding at the very beginning?
No, that's definitely a different character. Voice does sound kind of like Hertzler, I guess.
