Does that mean "The Witcher" takes place on an alien planet? You mean Y'ennifer?

Wait...what?The fun thing about linguistic drift is that Guinevere is actually Jennifer and vice versa.
What sort of name is Jennifer for an Andorian?
I guess the replicator can only do standard toolsThat was a sweet little episode. Once again while I enjoyed it, there really weren't any points I laughed out loud.
I feel like they toned down the "ridiculous" quotient a lot from the previous episode. I like that everyone onboard the Cerritos comes across as competent here - if not always emotionally mature.
The Tendi/Rutherford B plot was really endearing, but as with the second episode, I don't understand why a fancy tricorder is such a big deal. Can't the replicator poop that stuff out as soon as a design is put in?
Jennifer might be just a human name, sort of like Hosato "George" Takei was given a Western name shortly after birth.

I've used "people our age" while talking to people ~10 years younger, and the look they gave me seemed to mean they're offended XDThis came up in another thread. Boimler saying they are the same age doesn't necessarily make it so. Plus, it's common to think of other people being in your age group when they are actually a couple of years younger or older than you. My guess is that Boimler is like 20 to 22 and Mariner is 25 to 27.
Same here, I was considering cancelling mine after the disaster last week, but Mariner was not annoying this time and I loved the entire episode. Best so far!My subscription is running out and I was just going to let it end and renew it when Discovery started back up, of course I can't do that now. Nope.![]()
Decades back, when I was working fast food, a girl who'd never seen a urinal before had to clean the restrooms, and was asking about the special hand sink in the men's room...
He looks sexy no matter what he wears or doesn't wearThe best part was how, despite it being stupid-looking (to us), Brinson later admitted that he looked sexy.
Anyone have images or the trailer itself for next weeks episode?
Maybe it never happened because they were successful, and no one ever knew who it was, cause they were erased from existence XDIt could be like on Enterprise when Archer fought alien nazis. I just assume the guy they were assassinating (or "stopping by any means necessary") was a time traveler attempting to take Hitler's place or expand on his programs. It could be also that Docent doesn't know the full extent of the mission, and that was just his after-the-fact takeaway.
That style I could see somebody mistaking for a sink. Individual, wall-mounted, porcelain jobs with pull-down flush handles...not so much.

Nice. The old Huron-type/Antares class from TAS, the first non-Constitution class starship we ever saw.
Take care!LLAP, suckas.
The name-dropping of existing characters and events remains extremely annoying and unfunny.
, the episode where Mariner just named off a bunch of characters in a row didn't work.
