What exactly does "winning" mean? That the regulars of the forum say "You were right and we were wrong"? Does "winning" mean that the other side either sees the light, automatically yields to your point of view, or just goes totally silent? If that's the case, then I'm sorry to say that none of these things are going to happen. It never happens.
Change your goal to something more realistic: We hash it out, we realize that we're dealing with one opinion versus another, that no one is going the change each others' minds, and that a forum is going to be populated by more people who like a series than don't. If you don't like X show and you're posting in X forum, you have the minority opinion. It's not going to become a majority opinion, at least not in here. So make your argument as best as you can, expect it's going to be rebutted in some manner, and accept that comes with the territory.
