1) I'm annoyed that they're showing the second cut. But then someone else would have been annoyed the other way.
2) I've been taking the year of from Khan because I'm going to watch it on MY 49th birthday. I guess I'll see it once more before then.
3) YIPEEEE!

While I love this movie, it always bugs me when Scottys nephew gets killed he takes the lift to the bridge instead of sickbay. His nephew died in sickbay, I wonder if he would have lived if Scotty would have taken him right to sickbay instead of the bridge for some reason.

I think the lift was diverted for some reason.

You'll like the book better then.

I always saw it that scotty was in such distress, and sickbay likely looking like a war zone that he was doing the only thing he could think of at the time - look to his friends for help. Clearly retrospectively it was a poor decision, regardless of what was going on in sickbay it was obviously the best place to go, but people do strange things when they go into fight or flight mode. With this in mind I think it makes it quite a strong scene.

I wish it were showing here in Australia.

Got to see his cut at Mission New York last year. Cool experience. Might go to this new showing. But what I wish they'd do is bring TMP Director's Cut to theaters. THAT I would get really excited about.

The turbo lifts were malfunctioning. If you remember, they were inoperative below C-Deck after the quick repairs while Kirk was on Regula...so it's easy to surmise that the tubes were in worse shape right after the attack and maybe the Bridge was the closest he could get to sickbay..and needed his friends help to get Peter there.

I always figured he was in shock and pressed the wrong button.

Works for me.

Great for me. A theater is playing it locally!! 600 movie theaters..this will probably add to the movie's official box office total.

I saw this movie on a screen with a projector, but not in a movie theater. This will bee my first time on the big screen. September 2017 is a very big month for trekkies.

Anyone else wonder about the coincidence of the 35th anniversary showing and the fact Nicholas Meyer has been tasked with developing a new Trek series? It's a conspiracy I tell you! Start checking everyone's necks for a little blue spike!!!!

I'm all in favor of conspiracies when they work in my favor.

Where is my Star Wars (1977) conspiracy?!?

Does anyone know if the Shatner interview is before or after the film? My daughter will be seeing this for the first time, I don't need The Shat spoiling the movie for her.
