Now if you had said that Teri Garr will star in a film that will treat UFO's seriously in a few years, no one, but no one, would believe that.
Even if you suggested it'll be directed by that guy who's done like a few episodes of Columbo and a few other TV shows, Steven Spiel-something I do believe, 'cause frankly that'll never happen in a million years.

Anyway, I think that even though Star Trek has been cancelled, William Shatner has proven himself for the potential to be a colossal star on the basis of this series. I expect to see him in a slew of high quality, boundary pushing dramas for decades to come. Trust me, this time ten years from now, 'A William Shatner picture' will be a phrase synonymous with quality and taste.

Anyhow, we all know the draft is here to stay. There is no other way to maintain an army for the country the size of the United States.
Actually, I did. One of my med school classmates got an internship in Canada specifically to avoid the draft. Another became a Conscientious Objector. I started as a Conscientious Objector, and moved to becoming a resister, and escaped prison by some legal fluke that I never knew about. I don't know how many ended up getting drafted.
Anyhow, we all know the draft is here to stay. There is no other way to maintain an army for the country the size of the United States.
