It's looking very good. :bolian: Can't wait to see these ships take flight.

Me to ;).

Hopefully I’ll have some of the 3D models I’m working on right now up soon.

Nice, but you may wanna turn those images into links - they're seriously page-stretching!

Changed Pheon's images to links.

Very nice! Any progress on the casting front?

Nothing official as of yet, although there are some strong contenders for several of the roles. Audition submissions are however still very much open, especially for the female parts.

Final decisions won't be made until I've at least completed the script for the first episode, which I'm about 20% of the way through.

I have to agree. Everything is looking great so far. Can't wait to see more good stuff and what else comes out soon too.

Right now, things are pretty much geared for a preview/trailer. Originally, I was just going to compile several test animations together, but as things have moved on I think it's going to be much efficient to wait until I've got the script complete and just use the material that will end up in the finished episode(s).

Obviously, I'm juggling a few things around in the air right now, but priorities at this stage are my NX model, and the script. I should have some new pics of the NX model up soon, but I've started working on another one as well.

Here’s the new WIP:

Ok, now I recognize it. I knew it was either a Klingon ship or an Andorian ship, and the color was confusing me.

I am looking forward to this project. I have always felt there was so much more that Paramount could have done with Enterprise. After all this was the beginning of Starfleet and it's history. All of the races they could meet. The adventure, the wide openness of the universe lay before them and Berman and crew focused on some Temporal Cold War crap. What a waste.

Full speed ahead Pheon.

Personally, I was never really against the TCW. I thought it was an interesting concept, but never really went anywhere in the show due to a failure of execution. They had no set plans of where they wanted to go, so the series suffered a lack of direction as a result. That was until season three, but by then the damage had been done and only a remnant of the fanbase was still watching.

The first step in this project was spent just coming up with the direction for this fifth season and overarching story, so hopefully this evident problem that was with the series will be avoided.

Mulling it over for one simple thing, I've been involved in on-stage acting for a few years won quite a few awards for it when younger, I kinda quit the acting scene though.

But, what i do know from those experiences: Aye I can do tuckers voice.

Aye I can do Reed's voice, hell I might be able to do archers and mayweathers too.

Phlox I'll have to practice a little.

Beyond the actual acting experience, I have had sci-fi work published and awarded within australia, that was a series of small stories.

So yes, I'm aussie, but can manipulate my accent enough to fill a role and maybe even be a few extra's etc. We can just email the sound files back and forth.

So, I'm looking for my microphone now...have no idea where its gone...but I'll find it. And I can probably help you in the 'behind the scenes' stuff, nothing to technical but I guess, creative input.

I'm British, so I could probably do Reed pretty well. I don't have a microphone, though.

But I'd love to be involved with the writing/story side of things!

I'm very interested in any project that allows Enterprise another chance at life. ENT TAS seems like the perfect approach. A step beyond audio dramas but maybe not as expensive as live action filming.

I'd imagine scripts will need to be tailored to what can be done in animation. Repeating the way characters and objects move onscreen, as Filmation did with Kirk and Spock to cut corners in order to get episodes completed.

Are you keeping your pilot script ultra top secret for now or can I take a peek at it? I'm in England, wondering how on earth I can help. I've no experience in animation sadly. Possibly some visual and sound editing is of use to you, if it's anything like what I did putting together the trailer below.
