Star Trek: Enterprise - Season Five

This sounds like a great project and your artwork so far is incredible. I'm definately gonna follow this series once it gets going full force.

One thing though. For voice talent, are you looking for people mainly in the European area or can audio files be emailed from out of the country because I live in America and I'd like to give a shot at the voice of Trip.

Geographical location is immaterial. So long as you don't try out for Trip with a Jamaican accent, I couldn't care less where anyone looking to join the project is from.

Great art btw, can't wait for you to finish I represent Shore leave's video Room, and your concept could be placed in the Fannie Film Festival that will take place next July.

Keep me posted on your progress via PM OK.

PROJECT UPDATE:

Work is currently focused on the story treatment for the first story, which is shaping up to be a two-parter. The first episode is mostly plotted, but I’m holding off the script until I’ve got the whole story in the bag. That’s primarily because things may shift around and fluctuate a little between the two episodes. Ideally, I’d like to get started on the script within a week or so.

Meanwhile I’m working on a new test animation, and I’ve completed writing up the treatise for the first teaser trailer for the project. Storyboarding for that will begin after I’ve completed gathering audition material for the main characters. I’m hoping to get that completed within a day or so at the most.

Great work so far Pheon, I now you have been working on this for 2 years, I was not so lucky with my Enterprise S5 animated series, I certainly hope yours does well and if you need anything from me let me know. -thanks

Yep.
Ihink after World Enough and Time, I think a lot of people (including myself) are gonna be thinking differently about the impact and quality of fanfilms.

And I'm standing behind this one for sure. ENT deserves a bit longer run! And the animated characters look great.

Yeah I will have to say great work too. Can't wait to see more of what you get finished. This is just getting exciting more and more lately.

UPDATE:

It’s been a while since my last update on these boards. So I’m just letting everyone know that despite delays caused by computer breakdowns and illness I’ve finished gathering the audition material. I’m hoping it will be available sometime within the next couple of weeks after I’ve looked over the material some more, and added to it a little.

The various hopeful voice actors I’ve heard from will have to be patient for a little while longer, however I the meantime I’d love to hear from any people interested in joining the production team.

Anyone with expertise/experience in sound editing, Flash, or vector based drawing program like Illustrator or Fireworks will be appreciated.

As before, I promise that anyone who joins the team in either capacity will not be swamped with work. I make it a point to distribute tasks on a timescale that suits the individual members of the team, so long as some progress is being made.

That’s it for now.

Good to know this project is still going on.

I'm still interested in auditioning for Trip, but if I don't happen to get the role, I'd still like to contribute to this project. Being a graphic designer, I do have knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator, but unfortunately I only have Photoshop itself.

I'm also a fan fiction writer, so I could come up with story ideas, and I do have an idea for a rewrite of TATV.

I'm not a fan of Enterprise, but I'd be willing to do some alien designs/drawings, and offer professional Flash advice, if you like. I might even do some animation or effects, if it's something cool.

UPDATE:

Auditon material has all being compiled now. All's that's left is to check through it all to make sure it's all in order.

Re: ENT S5 Audition Material

I just want to let everyone know I've launched a blog relating to the ongoing development of the project at: http://ent-s5-dev.blogspot.com/

Up there is some new production material including a few other ship designs, and the first complete test animation.

Feel free to comment here or there if you wish.
