well, since in theory any holodeck can give Gray a body now that might well happen...We need more Ghost sex dammit.

Though I don't remember them getting a say in that...
....
Not in a ship that’s big enough to accommodate them.
And... that’s a bold claim in a franchise that gave us Picard’s evil twin, brain theft, Crusher’s sex ghost, space hippies, a transparent rip-off of Mass Effect’s Reapers, and basically the entirety of Voyager.
Candle ghost is definitely up there with the salamanders. The TOS stuff I saw for the first time after I was old enough to know that show has loads of camp 60s nonsense so doesn't bother me but I honestly don't remember Picard's evil twin. Do you mean Riker ?
How big is it inside Discovery? The ship must be massive.
Yeah, the Burn turned out to be stupid. Go figure. Some of the action was nice. Glad that Nilsson was back at the end.
She's very attractive. I get it. Rightly or wrongly people like watching attractive people.I’ve never understood the obsession with Nilsson.

I'd be willing to wager a large amount of money that if she didn't look the way she does no one would have been pushed for her as first officer.Well....yeah...I get it. But she’s also a background character many people were actively hoping would get the Executive Officer position.
Just seems odd.

Osyraa transported everyone else to starfleet HQs as a goodwill gesture in the previous episode.BTW, where was the rest of Discovery's crew besides Tilly & Co?
But in saying that she certainly doesn't cone across unpleasant - Nilsson is clearly a likeable and competent officer from what little we've seen. There's no reason people wouldn't like Nilsson, but I think the impact she's made is largely down to the way she looks.I would not, under any circumstance, bet against you on that one.

I thought it was a shame to replace a such a visually-striking and unique character like Airiam with 'just another human' but there were obviously off-screens reasons for this.
I think I know what the Nilsson thing was. Maybe not, but I can only go from my point of view.
Lt. Commander Airiam, with her rank, basically made her third-in-command behind Lorca and Saru. Or later Pike and Saru. Nilsson was brought in to replace Airiam, so it makes some people -- including me -- assume Nilsson was replacing Airiam in both position and pecking order in the chain-of-command.
Now, before anyone says anything, I was pushing for Willa to become First Officer. I thought Vance should've put someone from outside as Saru's XO. Going from Lieutenant to Lt. Commander and going from Security to First Officer isn't much of a stretch. Unlike Tilly where, like it or not, that is a stretch.
Making Tilly first officer was more than a stretch. Making Tilly first officer was lunacy.Unlike Tilly where, like it or not, that is a stretch.
