How much time did that sphere spend watching Earth anyway? Or did her interest come solely form the Discovery movie database?
So I wonder how long it will be until Zora/computer gets her holographic form? This season is taking some cues from Andromeda after all and we saw her do it in Calypso (which I think may be non-canon and was just an excuse to introduce Zora). Will that hologram eventually get an android body?
Basically I just want Discovery's AI to be able to go on away missions too. The landing party would then have access directly to Discovery's computer.

Just watched this ep - and it was great!
I’m really enjoying seeing more of Culber, and hoping he gets even more airtime throughout this season. The ‘log’ voiceover worked really well I thought, and provided the right amount of exposition around the crew in a naturalistic way.
Adira and Gray's storyline was very touching, and quite poignant, and I look forward to seeing their characters and relationship further developed. Great acting as well from both Blu del Barrio and Ian Alexander.
Saru’s captaincy is fascinating to see played out: I really felt for him, and the uphill battle he has keeping the crew well and guiding Discovery through these uncharted waters, so to speak.
Overall I gave this episode a 9 - it hit all the right notes, was classic exemplary Star Trek, and one of the best Discovery episodes to date!

They’re probably not. They’ve already shown us even back in the mirror universe that Georgiou has significant feelings and compassion for Burnham, so we know those characteristics are present in Georgiou.
And actually, we might still see some of what you suggest, I just don’t see it as a necessity.

IIRC, the sphere wasn't watching Earth as such, it encountered Discovery in deep space and (knowing that it was dying) offloaded all its data.
So the only knowledge the sphere/Zora would have of Earth would be from the ship's computer banks.

Yeah, but we've yet to hear him say his name. Though I suppose "Linus" might be as close to his name that the mammalian humanoids can manage.
I would argue that Georgiou is growing some sort of affinity for the crew given she rescued Saru and Tilly, is respectful of Saru as captain, genuinely seems to like nhan and tried breaking the ice at dinner. I think georgiou is beginning to care about the things burnham cares about in her own way
why would it be not canon? Especially now that we’ve got references to the V’drays And Zora?

The fourth episode of the third season.With Adira unable to access the memories of the Tal symbiont, Discovery jumps to Trill. Burnham accompanies Adira to the Caves of Mak'ala while Culbur tries to deal with the stress and trauma the Discovery crew has undergone. Both of these storylines were executed very well although the reasoning behind Burnham going to Trill with Adira was more than a bit contrived. Despite this issue, it worked very well. Firstly, Trill and Adira's experience in the Caves of Mak'ala.
Discovery contacting Trill (and the Symbiosis Commission, although it's not named here) was done well, but the main conflict is on the surface, where various Trill is shocked that there is a successful joining to a human. The way Burnham navigated this issue was done very well. The Caves of Mak'ala look rather similar to their appearance in Equilibrium. However, the journey Adira undergoes as she gains the memories of the Symbiont was done very well (even if Burnham had to help).
But that's not all that's going on. Culbur brings his concerns about to crew to Saru, who decides to talk to the computer about the those concerns. The Sphere Data replying to Saru was unexpected, but it was done well. Certainly, the crew luncheon didn't go well, with Detmer being inappropriate, but Saru did try. Then there is them trying to find a way to not require Stamets as the Spore Drive Navigator. Dark Matter may be barking up the wrong tree. Finding out about Bioneural Gel Packs would be a better idea.
Overall the episode was rather enjoyable. Not just the events on Trill with the reminder of Equilibrium and Facets (with the meeting of the previous hosts being like a Zhian'tara), but also the Discovery Senior Staff trying to connect over lunch. However, I'm uncertain how the situation with Grey appearing to Adira would be treated, but I'll wait and see. 8.9/10.

I hope so too. Character development is always a landmark of a good Trek series. It would've been a good storyline to see even an evil character from the Mirror-verse can get some form of redemption at Prime-verse.
Hopefully the show runners won't give the Lorca treatment to Georgiou, aka erasing all of her character growth and turning her back into a cartoon evil/Space Hitler character by the time her character takes the final bow, whether in 'Disco' finale or in a future 'Section 31' series
