I'm glad someone else understands that. No wonder I call you Cap'n. (I'm from Kentucky, what can I say?)

I'm hoping we start to get some tidbits or clues as to what the next episode might have in store for us.
Silly me. He's already done it, in Fairest of Them All.I wonder if Todd Haberkorn would be up to the challenge of a Spockocentric episode.
Interview with Michele Specht on Trek FM: http://www.trek.fm/continuing-mission/16
Her enthusiasm is infectious.
Yes, just check out her Facebook page and you'll see that she's constantly enthusing about how much she loves Star Trek Continues. Not just an act she puts on for special occasions. In all honesty; that's Michele; she's not acting, that's they way she is.
He also said it's less action-oriented, so I'm guessing he means personal crises but no fistfights or phasers.Wait, more dramatic than episode 3? That was a pretty dramatic episode (in a good way). Hopefully it doesn't mean melodramatic. It's a line not all fan films walk that well.
Through Facebook a few months ago STC asked what crossovers do people want; most said Doctor Who or Starship Farragut so hopefully that'll come to fruition.

What with Mignogna's Kirk having already popped up on Farragut, they've technically done a crossover with that. Don't see why they'd say anything about crossovers unless they planned to do one at some point, unless they were just building empty hype, which to be fair is something not altogether beyond the realms of possibility.

I mean a full crossover, that was just a cameo! I spoke to one of the directors and they said Doctor Who was unlikely as their philosophy is to try and do stories that they would have done back in 1969 which I guess sets them apart from Phase II.
Anything post-TOS in their show is a tiny shoutout or for continuity if the script requires it (i.e. in LOLANI, they needed to refer to the Orion events in Enterprise in order to keep canon.)
I'm going to assume you mean apart from the existence of a "ship's counselor" figure as a new member of the recurring cast. Their business, of course, but I'd hardly call that a tiny shout out or necessary for continuity. Still, unlike some I have no issues to changes to the TOS era stuff where appropriate or necessary, so more power to 'em.
As has been explained (repeatedly) the holodeck idea actually dates back to when TOS was in production and actually seen in TAS. Stricly speaking it's not a TNG era invention.
