In "Mirror, Mirror" they used stock fotage of the ship from WNMHGB, but evidently it was supposed to be a replica of the series production version of the ship only they couldn't afford to redo the markings and shoot new footage. Same way as TOS-R replaced stock footage of the pilot versions of the ship throughout the series.I wonder how they found the time for a refit of the I.S.S. Enterprise during Mirror, Mirror.
More to the episode: THAT...FREAKIN'...ROCKED!!! They kept true to their word. There were no references to anything outside of "Mirror, Mirror."
This was a lot of fun. The Mirror Kirk really is an ass and it's hard to imagine this guy getting as far as he did in that universe.
I loved the little bit at the beginning where the Prime Kirk makes his pitch. Nicely done!
I noticed this right off the bat too and wished they had used the "pilot" version of the ship. I know in TOS it was inconsistent but in the Remastered they purposefully used it and this would have made the ep consistent with both. I considered that they were going for a "the remastered wasn't around in the original season 4 thing but then they added the remastered effect to the agonizer.

The episode itself was absolutely awesome! I loved it, can't say that enough. I did question whether TOS would have actually done one going back to directly following up on the episode in this way but that's not a complaint, just a question/observation. Everything was just spot on and they just did an awesome job! Only fan film series i've actually put on my drive to sit and watch in front of the tv like the real show rather than just checking it out on the computer...great stuff! Looking forward to more!
On another note the last time I was here was December 31 2010 apparently...I knew I was away awhile lol. Haven't ever gotten away from Trek really but lately have been trying to re immerse myself in it so here I am!
