Can we please stop to posting "trailer view counts" from Youtube here?
There's literally nothing to learn from that information except "More people around the world have Internet now than a few years before".
The only fair comparison would be to other current trailers from the same year (but trailers, not teasers), and even that is flimsy at best, since it mostly represents how many people are rewatching those trailers (Batman v. Superman had way more views than CA:Civil War, Ghostbusters has way more views than Trek...) AKA what reddit currently obsesses about. No information about how many real people saw the trailer - in Cinemas for example. Not just dorks on the internet. And I really don't care for that type of circlejerk.
Nope.
It's a valid point of discussion and shows continued interest leading up to the movie.
Thank god you read my arguments and gave an intelligent counter-point

I have nothing against "view counts" with a bit of information/argument around them (how many views compared to other movies?/how many more in the last few days?).
But regularly dumping this thread with meaningless numbers ist just annoying.
