It's all been very quiet. I suspect this film, like all the other attempts to make a movie post-Beyond, isn't happening.
Hollywood accounting: a tale as old as the artform of cinema itself. In guessing that when another Trek film eventually does get made, all these development costs will be lumped in so they can claim it didn't break even and write the whole thing off for tax.

Maybe nobody is interested in another prequel anymore, not even the film makers.![]()
Good. Because the whole premise sounded utterly stupid.
If its not the Romulan War or a Kelvinverse crossover and it does not retcon Trip's death, no one really cares for an ENT theatrical movie. Even if it was really good. We've already had Enterprise.![]()
Certainly not enough to make a movie out of it that will draw viewers and money. At this point I don’t think anyone cares anymore about the Romulan war or Trip Tucker.
Trip, but less so the Romulan War. I already know what happened at the end of it and I think that time has passed. At this point I don’t think anyone cares anymore about the Romulan war or Trip Tucker.
Yeah, I grow tired of the generalizations too. "Nobody cares about X Character!"Generalisations seem to happen often among Trek fans, especially "nobody wants this show", which is my absolute favourite of course.
I know of many people who say that ST 2009 was their intro to Trek, and they're now Trekkies.Trek is one of those franchises that doesn't tend to build 'a new mass audience'. Once in a while they manage to get non-Trekkies to come along en masse, but the majority lose interest after a while. (IMO, as ever.)
I just think ENT deserved a better end and an end without Trip's senseless death. At this point I don’t think anyone cares anymore about the Romulan war or Trip Tucker.
Demons/Terra Prime is a suitable ending to Enterprise for those who wish to ignore TATV.I just think ENT deserved a better end and an end without Trip's senseless death.
I view Demons/Terra Prime as the actual Enterprise series finale.Demons/Terra Prime is a suitable ending to Enterprise for those who wish to ignore TATV.
Yes. Everyone has a starting point.I know of many people who say that ST 2009 was their intro to Trek, and they're now Trekkies.
Same with DISCO.
