A is for the Ares IV, one of the earliest manned missions to Mars in the year 2032. It mysteriously vanished while in orbit, briefly stranding two of its astronauts on the Martian surface.
B is for "Belay that phaser order!"
C is for Cestus III.
D is for Delphic Expanse.
E is for the Enterprise-A, the second Federation starship to bear the name and commissioned in 2286 following the Whale Probe crisis that threatened Earth.
F is for Federation Funny Farm.
G is for Gorkon. Chancellor of the Klingon Empire. Apparently the only one to know about colors other than grey.
H is for the Hirogen, arguably the greatest warriors and hunters of the Delta Quadrant.
I is for Intermix chamber.
J is for Jadzia Dax, a dynamic personality who unfortunately ultimately wound up in the proverbial wrong place and wrong time.
K is for kemocite. Quite the versatile mineral, it played an integral part in the construction of a fearful engine of war to be employed against Earth.
L is for Landru. Once a living person who guided his war-torn world to peace, then an authoritarian global computer system that controlled the native population through intimidation and programming.
M is for Mugato venom.
N is for Nikolai Rozhenko. Worf's step brother. He was quite a good fella.
O is for the Ophiucus star system, location in 2266 of at least one significant Earth or Federation settlement where three unmarried human males were looking for wives.
P is for Protomatter. Dangerously unstable.
Q is for Q's fascination with humanity, which reached its apex during his many interesting encounters with Starfleet captains Picard and Janeway.
R is for Redblock. Cyrus Redblock. A ruthless villain from the Dixon Hill novels.
S is for Shinzon. Very bad idea for him to be Picard clone.
T is for Tula, daughter of Reger on planet Beta III. She was swept up in the Red Hour orgy of violence and passion during the visit of the Enterprise crew in 2267.
U is for Uhura's clever tongue.
V is for the Ventax star system.
W is for Wrigley's Pleasure Planet. Not Risa, but also a good option.
X is for X. The design theme for the Scimitar.
Y is for Yonada.
Z is for Zarabeth.
