As the thread starter, it is I, FYRE, who way, way back in November of 2015, knew that the new Star Trek series would be set in the Prime Timeline.

Have they changed when the series is placed? It was supposed to be pre-TNG, but that ship's registry number is pre-TOS.

Ship registry number means nothing at this point. Just have a look at this:

It's the Prime Universe. It's been confirmed. The exact timeframe itself has not yet been confirmed. It could be set at any time during the Prime timeline for all we know right now.

I think he said that it wasn't post-TUC/pre-TNG, so pre-TOS was still on the table.

Er, no, we don't have to be humble for jack shit about what you said. You just made a guess. You had a 50-50 chance of being right. It's not like you had any inside information, so stop acting like you are entitled to some reward from us.

We still don't know what universe the show is set in. All we've seen is a ship with the registry number NCC-1031.
