[Yeoman Randi]

Kirk: He didn't call my name--uh, Commander?

Kirk: Sir, you didn't call my name. Kirk, James T.

 

[Wynterhawk]

Commander: Kirk, you're on academic suspension. That means you're grounded until the Academy Board rules.

 

[Brian]

BONES: Jim, the board will rule in your favor. Most likely. Look Jim, I gotta go.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: Yeah, good luck. Be safe.

 

[Yeoman Randi]

Man carrying baggage trying to get past Kirk: Excuse me.

 

[Wynterhawk]

Kirk: Yeah, yeah sure.

 

[Yeoman Randi]

(Unintelligible ship assignments being given out).

McCoy: (who was walking away from Kirk, turns and says) Damn it! (to kirk) Come with me.

 

[Wynterhawk]

Assigning officer: U.S.S. Newton! Uhura, U.S.S. Faragut! Petrovsky, U.S.S. Antares! Go to your stations and good luck,.

 

[Yeoman Randi]

Kirk: Bones, where are we going?

 

[Wynterhawk]

Bones: You'll see.

 

[Yeoman Randi]

(scene shifts to Uhura who was just given her ship assignment. She seeks out Spock)

Uhura: Commander, a word?

 

[Wynterhawk]

(suspecting that he's probably in trouble)

Spock: Yes, Lieutenant?

 

[Brian]

UHURA: Was I not one of your top students?

 

[Wynterhawk]

Spock: Indeed you were.

 

[Brian]

UHURA: And did I not, on multiple occasions, demonstrate exceptional aural sensitivity, and I quote... "an unparalleled ability to identify sonic anomalies in subspace transmission tests"?

 

[Wynterhawk]

Spock: Consistently, yes.

 

[Brian]

UHURA: And while you are well aware of my unqualified desire to serve on the USS Enterprise, I am assigned to the Farragut?

 

[Wynterhawk]

Spock: It was an attempt to avoid the appearance of favoritism.

 

[Brian]

UHURA: No, I am assigned to the Enterprise.

 

[LeadHead]

Spock makes a change on his PADD

Spock: Yes, I believe you are.
