Spock: Captain. Engineering reports ready for launch.

Pike: Very good. Ladies and Gentlemen, the launch of a new flagship deserves more pomp and circumstance than we can afford today. The Christening will just have to be our reward for a safe return. Carry on.

Pike sits down

All decks, the is the Captain, prepare for launch. Helm, thrusters.

SULU: Moorings retracted, Captain. Dock control reports ready. Thrusters fired. Separating from space dock... The fleet's cleared space dock, captain. All ships ready for warp.

Pike: Set course for Vulcan.

 

[Wynterhawk]

Sulu: Aye-aye, Captain. Course laid in.

Pike: Maximum Warp. Punch it!

Sulu uses Warp Lever, everybody goes to warp... well, except the Enterpise. Everyone looks around confused.

Sulu: He has lungworm Sir, he couldn't report to his post. I'm Hikaru Sulu.

Pike: And you are a pilot, right?
