Kirk: Why aren't we at warp?
(The Enterprise tries to escape the force of the black hole but cannot)
Kirk: Why aren't we at warp?
Chekov: We are, sir.
(Engineering, the engines are straining and steam is shooting out of pipes everywhere)
Scotty: You bet yer arse, Captain! But we're caught in the gravity well - it's got us!

Scotty: Ok...if we eject the core and detonate the blast should be enough to push us away. I cannae promise anything though.

Scotty runs to the control panel yelling:

(The Enterprise "struggles" but makes it away from the expanding black hole. The bridge crew exchange sighs of relief and smile.)
