Star fleet academy show

There have been many rumors in recent years that there will be a new star trek show about and set in Star fleet academy.Does any think this is a god idea.

Yes, if it involves Q, Apollo, Trelane, Ardra, and Odo all going to the Academy together.

Get the writers from Galaxy Quest on that. I think I've struck latinum.

Other than that, I don't think it is a good idea. I'd watch it, because I'm a Trek-addicted idiot, but I might not really enjoy it.

I'm all for a Starfleet Academy series. I even made a couple of threads myself on the topic (I believe there was a third by someone else but I can't locate it).

With the right writers, there's a lot of potential in a show like that.
