Looks like a couple of those memorial pins might be a few years ahead of schedule. Or Excalibur and Antares are just having an unlucky streak as names.

They're not as bad as the Enterprise, though.

What I've seen so far would fit a lot better in the JJ-verse than TOS; all it needs now is the lens flares.

Just how big is that starbase Enterprise docked with at the end of the episode?
It has multiple adjacent sections of forests (which are massive on the inside from the looks of it).

Is it me, or does that StarBase feel larger than the Mushroom shaped SpaceDock we're used to seeing?
