Would you rather eat dog shit or cat shit?

"Eat the cat poop, Mr. Burgundy!"
"I will not eat the cat poop!"
"Eat it!"
"NO!"

Spiderman 3 was better. Terminator 2 set the bar extremely high, and Terminator 3 largely failed to meet the standard set by James Cameron. Spiderman 3 was only a hair under the quality of the first two, in my opinion.

I loved Terminator 3. It felt like a true sequel to the original whereas T2 was more of a Terminator meets Kindergarten Kop, feel-good sort of spin-off of the original Terminator.
That aspect of T2 is why I abondoned the series at that point and never saw T3.

I like both films, but have always thought Spider-Man 3 could and should have been so much more. T3, on the other hand, had clarity of purpose on it's side: blow shit up but good. And I love the ridiculously long chase scene.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

That chase scene (minus the CGI that made Matrix speed chase so unbelievable) is the best part of T3..IMO...

Spiderman 3 was just too long, and badly paced.

I'll agree with those who said that while Terminator 3 wasn't on the same level of quality as the first two, (though I did think the ending was pretty classic) it still blew away Spidey 3. They show both of them on TV from time to time and I'll stop and watch a little of T3 whereas I can't say the same for Spider-Man 3; I had a tough time making it through that mess the first time.

T3 wins. They are both not as good as their previous installments, but Spidey 3 has some head scratching, cringeworthy WTF moments - specifically in regards to The Goblin kidnapping Mary Jane and actually, Mary Jane throughout the entire film.

The T3 Terminator is definitely not an uncle Bob. At one point when John Connor won't stop whining, the Terminator picks him up and chokes him. He's not sentimental and "Talk to da hand" aside, he's not a comedian either. I do think he gets the short end of the stick for getting his leathers from a male stripper instead of from some hard-assed biker but that doesn't stop him from kicking a lot of ass.

T3 was a visual feast and the story was coherent, even if the characters weren't all that likable. As for Spidey 3, I've had a copy of it since it came out on DVD and I haven't bothered watching it yet.

T2s failings were not in it's visuals but in it's writings. The special effects were groundbreaking and the semi driving off into the aquaduct was great.

Spidey 3 failed by trying to throw in too many bad guys. They should have stuck with the Sandman and left Venom out of it. Great effects but bad writing and a nonsensical plot dragged it down.
