Spidey OUT of MCU

At a minimum, Raimi was also a fan of, from after the '60s comics, the Black Cat and the Harry Osborn Green Goblin.

I don't see that. Black Cat wasn't in the movies, never hinted at. And from how he treated him, I doubt he was a fan of Harry as the Goblin either.

Ultimate Spider-Man was a character whose creator Bendis wasn't interested enough in to not kill him off.

You can kill off a character that's liked if you think there's a good story in it. It led to Miles.

And even Ultimate Spider-Man was much less admiring of or deferential to Nick Fury than MCU Spider-Man was of Tony Stark.

Because Ultimate Fury is a much bigger dick than Tony. If he hadn't been that, Peter would've been fine with him.

Ultimate Spider-Man actually told a good story that was first and foremost focused on Peter, whereas the initial MCU take on Spider-Man was neither of these things, which makes trying to compare them silly in the extreme and completely irrelevant.

Genuine question, do you have a source for that? I've found nothing on why Bendis killed him off, and that he wrote the guy for 130 issues before his death suggests to me that he probably wasn't uninterested in him.

What, that stuff about Goblin Hulk?

It's quite relevant. Ultimate Spidey teamed up quite fast with other heroes and became Fury's "Property" quite fast too.
