Sony and Marvel have kissed up and made nice and will co-produce Spider-Man 3.
Color me unsurprised.
Can't wait for the "Finally, Sony came to their senses! I guess even they're not too stupid to give away free money!" takes to start pouring in.

I'm glad they reached an agreement. Maybe the third film will be a "wrapping up" of this storyline and then Sony can do what it wants with Spidey.

I'm really glad this happened. I may not have liked Homecoming, but Far From Home looks interesting (waiting for the DVD release), and Sony hasn't done a good solo Spider-Man film (not counting animation) since spider-Man 2, and I had no interest in seeing them fuck up again.
With this new deal, it should keep things copasetic until Disney buys Sony
Please, God no. There's been enough studio consolidation. Not everything needs to be under the auspices of Darth Mickey.
