What if you take a pandemic into account?

Probably helped it since it was the first major film release in 1.5 years with no same day digital availability during a brief period when Covid infections and restrictions were near universally lowered to allow max occupancy levels right before Omicron hit.

No Time to Die?

I don’t think the pandemic affected this film in the slightest

Don't kid yourself, our city has been in lockdown through much of the time, and the few times theatres were actually open (we're a yo-yo here it seems), they only allowed 50% capacity, for most of the province in fact. I know many people that saw the movie through other means because there was no way they were going to a theatre.

100% fact, the pandemic had an effect.

No Time to Die?
There have been plenty of movies that came out during the pandemic that didn't have a digital release, so if you think the pandemic had no effect on this movie think again. I only saw it yesterday (I am normally an opening day kind of guy) because I had a coupon to see it for $5. Going to the movies during omicron peak seemed crazy to me, and I am far from a lonely minority on this. The movie's box office is basically a miracle and a testament to the popularity of mega crossover movies.

What if you take inflation into account?
This. Unless inflation is taken into account, the list is meaningless because no movie should get extra credit for higher ticket prices.
