Jonny Lee Miller I could see as Brainiac. That's assuming they ever do another solo Superman movie. Snyder and Cavil are hopeful, but things are obviously in doubt.

There are also at least two Dr Watsons in the MCU in the shape of Martin Freeman and Ben Kingsley (from the spoof Holmes movie Without a Clue, in which Alfred himself, Michael Caine, played a drunk actor, who Watson, the real brains and detective, hired to play Holmes)).

For the type that they went for, Miller probably would have made a much better Rip Hunter than the empty trench coat they got.
