Now I want these as well. Now when my kids are at school I could recreate each TOS episode in my backyard. I love the Kirk figure trying to smash the imaginary Gorn.
Are these figures really going to be able to smash Gorns, taking tricorder readings or is that just a fake-up?

And if there are interchangeable parts I'm going to interchange Spock and Kirk's parts as well because I'm just that evil. And then if they make an Uhura it will become very interesting.

I'll echo the complain that Playmates made too many action figures. For the most part, the ship sold pretty well. I snatched one up when they first came out and barely ran across them in large numbers after that. Maybe one or two per store. Ditto the roleplaying toys.

But for whatever reason, they flooded the market with action figures that are still taking up space in my local Toys R Us.
